HISTORY OF TEQUILA

The word Tequila has its roots back from the Aztec language which means ‘the place where plants are harvested’. The name itself is sufficient to sum up the sentiment behind the America’s top shelf choice – A plant, a place and people who make it – Tequila

The production of Tequila is strictly restricted to some of the major Mexican states including Jalisco and a few municipalities in Michoacán, Tamaulipas and Nayarit.

The 18th century saw the rise of Tequila and reached American high societies in 1980s. Today, Tequila is popular amongst elite US circle that includes celebrities, politicians and nearly everyone with a refined palette and aims and opinions as strong as a wall.

Remember, with Tequila, you’re not tasting only liquor, you’re tasting history.
